2. Description of Service

DotBox is a QR code generator that allows you to create, customize, and download QR codes. The Service includes a free tier and a paid Pro subscription with additional features such as custom styling, multiple export formats, dynamic QR codes, scan analytics, and bulk generation.

3. Accounts

An account is not required to use basic QR code generation. To access Pro features, save QR codes, or use dynamic QR codes, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Free and Pro Tiers

The free tier provides URL QR code generation, black-and-white styling, and PNG downloads up to 512×512 pixels with no account required.

DotBox Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks all QR code types, custom colors, gradients, logo embedding, SVG/PDF export, high-resolution downloads up to 4096×4096 pixels, dynamic QR codes with scan analytics, and bulk generation. Pro pricing is listed on our pricing page.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the interval you select. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access to Pro features continues until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create QR codes that link to malware, phishing sites, or illegal content
• Distribute spam or misleading QR codes
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

QR codes you create are yours. You retain all rights to the content encoded in your QR codes and any logos or images you upload. DotBox does not claim ownership of your content.

The DotBox name, logo, and the Service itself (including its design, code, and documentation) are the property of Cyberdime Development and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Dynamic QR Codes

Dynamic QR codes redirect through our servers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the redirect service, though we make reasonable efforts to maintain uptime. If your Pro subscription ends, existing dynamic QR codes will continue to redirect but you will not be able to edit their destination or view analytics.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. QR code scannability depends on factors outside our control, including print quality, size, and scanning device.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cyberdime Development and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive (including liability limitations, intellectual property, and disclaimers) will remain in effect.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
